Why it matters

We launched GNiS in response to one of the most overlooked problems in global development: the waste of value at the post-harvest stage in the Global South. While food is grown locally, most of its value is lost through outdated systems, raw exports, and lack of infrastructure.

Our goal is to retain that value locally, while building globally compliant, climate-smart food systems that empower communities, serve consumers, and attract smart investment.
